INDUSTRY ADVISORY BOARD

Industry Advisory Board Responsibilities

As the industry continues to evolve, we rely on the expertise of our Industry Advisory Board to help ensure the conference program remains relevant, timely, and reflective of the priorities facing the sector.

As a member of the Industry Advisory Board, you will help guide the development of the conference program by:

  • Identifying emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges facing the nuclear sector
  • Recommending timely session topics and themes
  • Suggesting speakers and organizations that should be represented in the program
  • Providing feedback on the conference agenda and event direction
  • Helping connect the conference with key stakeholders across industry, government, Indigenous communities, academia, and the supply chain
  • Serving as a moderator, panelist, speaker, or session contributor, where appropriate

Time Commitment

We recognize that industry leaders have demanding schedules and have designed the Advisory Board to require a modest commitment of approximately 8 hours between September and March, including:

  • Up to four (4) one-hour virtual Advisory Board meetings via Microsoft Teams
  • Participation in email discussions and occasional feedback requests
  • Reviewing draft agendas and recommending speakers and topics
  • Optional participation as a moderator, panelist, or speaker during the Summit

Why Participate?

Industry Advisory Board members play an important role in shaping Western Canada's premier SMR and nuclear development event while helping foster meaningful dialogue across the sector. Your insights will help ensure the Summit continues to serve as a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and business development as Canada advances its nuclear ambitions. This is a great opportunity to provide thought-leadership, network with other industry experts and help to foster growth in Canada’s nuclear sector. And as a Thank you, we provide a discounted registration option for active members.
